An Artful Salute to World Geography at Seton Catholic School

Mrs. Fran Riddell’s third-graders at Seton Catholic School recently took part in a cross-curricular project that combined art, research, writing, and geography.

Each student created a “learning” hat with 10 researched facts on an ocean, mountain, volcano, continent, desert, river, or natural wonder. Later, with hats on, students sang and danced for an audience of parents while entertaining and informing them about geography.

Above, the class models their fact-filled headwear!
