Honors Galore

Band Director Allison Weitkamp sent in this report about the exciting success of a whole bunch of band students at various Central KY Catholic schools. Photos of the bands are, top to bottom, Sts. 2009 District Solo and Ensemble Festival

Lexington Catholic High School hosted the District Solo and Ensemble festival on Saturday, February 21. There were approximately 2,000 students from the eight surrounding counties that participated in this event, and we had over 100 students from the schools in our Diocese that performed. The vast majority of our students earned Distinguished (I) and Proficient (II) ratings, which are the two highest scores. Congratulations to the following students!
