Mary Joe Quinn, Art Teacher at Christ the King School in Lexington, sends along this update:
Beth Ettenson and I attended the NAEA (National Arts Education Association) conference in Baltimore this past week. The theme was Art and Social Justice. We attended a multitude of impressive sessions, including a number on curriculum, assessment and social justice, anti-bullying. We also made a quick trip to Mass at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception .
These few days were time well spent to invigorate us and our programs.
